Spotify Log out of all Devices:- Spotify is an app that deserves all the praise. There are many amazing things you can do easily using Spotify. Setting Spotify songs as your alarm tone or receiving song lyrics, the Spotify community continues to work to improve the user experience.
But keeping all these good things aside, there are some big problems that a lot of users have to face sometimes. Many Spotify users often experience strange behavior on their Spotify app. Some see their account playing a particular song on another device while others see the song playing automatically on their device.
It is also likely that the song suddenly changes when the user is listening to Spotify. Not only this, you can see some playlists on the account that you never made. Now how can such things happen? Apparently, there cannot be such a big mess with the app.
Well, the only reason for these things is when your Spotify account is open on any other device as well. Also, that person is using your Spotify account. So in this article, we are going to show how you can log out of your Spotify account remotely everywhere and prevent it from happening.
Spotify log out of all Devices
To log out of your account from all devices, you must have an internet connection. After that, steps can be followed from the browser on any device, be it desktop, Android, or iOS.
1. Using your device, visit Spotify’s official site.
2. On the official page, if you are not already logged in, it will show the login option on the right (using a desktop). In the case of a mobile device, tap on the hamburger icon and choose Login. Now provide your credit and log in to your Spotify account.
3. After signing in to your account, click on the profile in the top right and select Account.
4. Now an account overview page will appear. After that, scroll down a bit and select SIGN OUT EVERYWHERE.
Just after clicking/tapping on it, your Spotify account will be automatically logged out from all the devices in which it is logged in. You can check this by opening the Spotify app on your device. Now just relax because Spotify is logged off.
Similar to your device, the Spotify app will also be logged out of the device of the person who was using your account. Apart from the app, your account will also be logged out from the web player.
The password reset option did not work
We also tried to sign out of the Spotify app from everywhere using the Forgot Password option. Upon changing the password the account should be automatically signed out from all the devices that were being used.
But to our surprise, this did not happen. Spotify’s account was still logged in after changing your password. So the only option we have is the method we discussed above.
Log back into Spotify
Now when logging back into your Spotify account, make sure that you take some precautions. If you always log in to your Spotify account using Facebook, it is recommended that you also change the password of your Facebook account. If you are logging in using an email ID, then make sure to change your Spotify password and this time choose a very strong password.
These types of situations mostly occur when you log into your Spotify account on a friend or relative’s device and forget to log out. Sometimes, a similar problem occurs when you have lost your device and a Spotify account is logged on it.
So it is better not to share your Spotify details with anyone and if you share and are experiencing problems, still make sure to log out from all devices using these steps.
